LSU gave North Shore standout Dasean Royal his first Division I offer after an impressive summer camp performance. He returned to Baton Rouge for the Tigers’ 51-10 rout of Clemson — and left Death Valley already wanting to come back.

Death Valley was electric Saturday night as No. 11 LSU opened the Lane Kiffin era with a dominant 51-10 victory over Clemson.

More than 100 prospects made their way to Baton Rouge for Kiffin’s highly anticipated debut, including 2027 North Shore athlete Dasean Royal‍ of Houston, Texas.

For Royal, the trip represented more than an opportunity to experience a Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. LSU has played an important role in the early stages of his recruitment.
