Ed Orgeron recruits and spreads joy in Lucedale
LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron spent a good part of Tuesday in Lucedale, Mississippi with several staff members. Once there, he met with top defensive tackle recruit McKinnley Jackson and then a stop at a local nursing center where he was greeted with smiles.

Jackson is arguably the nation’s top defensive tackle who has not yet signed a national letter of intent. He tweeted late Tuesday evening that he’ll be announcing his college choice on Wednesday February 5th at 9:30am.
Last weekend Jackson visited LSU officially, the previous weekend he was in Tuscaloosa for an unofficial visit and this coming weekend he visits Texas A&M officially.
LSU defensive line coach Bill Johnson and graduate assistant Christian LaCouture made the rounds with Orgeron. They stopped at Aunt Jenny’s Country Buffet where Jackson me them.
Then it was onto the Glen Oaks Nursing Center.
