“I would like to thank my parents, coaches and teammates for everything they have done to allow me to be the player I am today. I would also like to thank all the college coaches who took the time to recruit me but with that being said I’m committed to Louisiana State University.”
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound Jackson committed to LSU over Texas A&M, Ohio State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Tennessee and many others.
Jackson visited LSU unofficially for the LSU-Texas A&M game last fall and was scheduled to visit officially for the weekend of May 8, but that was cancelled due to the Coronavirus lockdown.
He finished the 2019 season with 110 tackles, 19 sacks, 29 tackles for loss and 8 pass break-ups.
