The 7-foot, 245 pound center was a redshirt freshman on last years Washington team. He could be ruled immediately eligible to play the 2020-21 season. If granted NCAA waiver he would have three years of eligibility.
Penn-Johnson has a 7-foot-7 wingspan and has grown over six inches since he was a freshman in high school. He prepped at Wasatch Academy (Mt.Pleasant, Utah).
Last season, he played in six games where he averaged 1.8 points and 0.8 rebounds. Will Wade certainly likes that he totaled five blocks in those games. In those games, he averaged less than six minutes on the court per game.
