Game week has finally arrived for LSU and the other 13 Southeastern Conference football teams.

In midsummer, no one knew if there was going to be a college football season due to COVID-19. The pandemic, which has been with us for six months, had the ability to wipe out the college football year.

Give credit to SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey who stayed the course and refused to postpone or call off the football season. So, SEC teams will begin their 10-game, all-league schedule Saturday.
