Forward Alex Fudge commits to LSU
LSU head basketball coach Will Wade has received some great news. High four-star forward Alex Fudge of Jacksonville (Fla.) Robert E. Lee High School has announced his commitment to the Tigers.
The 6-foot-8, 190-pound Fudge chose LSU over Georgia, USC, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, Texas, Texas A&M and UCF.
Fudge is a consensus Top-50 national player across all ranking services. He finished last season averaging 16 points, 9.9 rebounds, three blocks and 1.3 steals.
Fudge’s ties to Louisiana were a big factor in choosing LSU as his mom lives in Lafayette.
LSU now has four commitments for the class of 2021. The other three are center Bradley Ezewiro, center Jerrell Colbert and guard Brandon Murray.
