Crucial hiring decisions for Orgeron

It did not take long for LSU coach Ed Orgeron to shake up his football staff.

Less than 72 hours after the Tigers closed a disappointing 5-5 2020 season, five assistant coaches were gone. Offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Steve Ensminger and defensive line coach Bill Johnson were reassigned to analyst positions.

Defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Bo Pelini, passing game coordinator Scott Linehan and safeties coach Bill Busch were fired.
