Orgeron had good reason for defensive hires

LSU football coach Ed Orgeron has completed his defensive staff.

Undoubtedly, the defensive assistants will provide a unique look for the Tigers program. Youth was the obvious goal for Orgeron. The ages for the three new defensive assistants are 41 (Daronte Jones and Andre Carter) and 38 (Blake Baker).

Only one younger defensive assistant was hired in the past ten years at LSU.
