FROM THE LOCKER ROOM
Coach Ed Orgeron’s comments: “This was a hard-fought battle. We got up 24-0 and couldn’t put them away. Louisiana Tech kept on fighting. We didn’t come out ready to go in the second half. The tale of the game was our 218 yards rushing. Anytime we do that, we are going to win. Dee Anderson was the MVP of the game. Thank God we had him. Because of his height, he could make some plays. Louisiana Tech protected their quarterback. They had a great game plan and kept us off balance. We need more pressure. We need to know if we are rushing the right way and we need to find out which coverages we need to run. I liked our offensive line and we have two pretty good backs.”
