ANALYSIS: LSU answered when needed to clinch victory

There were certainly enough problem areas for LSU in its 38-21 victory against Louisiana Tech in Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.

LSU did nothing on offense for more than a quarter as it watched a 24-point lead shrink to three. Then, the Tigers defense struggled as the game wore due to the passing of Bulldogs quarterback J’Mar Smith, who finished with 330 yards and three touchdowns.

Those numbers can provide a little anxiety considering the fact that Ole Miss is next up on the schedule.
