New LSU baseball coach will start with a mixed bag

Paul Mainieri gave the most accurate picture of Tigers baseball personnel at his final press conference Sunday. There is a good core of outstanding players returning for LSU in 2022. However, Mainieri acknowledged there are “holes to be filled.”
