Deep LSU defensive line must be playmakers

Distractions due to hurricanes are nothing new for LSU.

Former coach Les Miles’ first season was disrupted by two hurricanes – Katrina and Rita. The Tigers still won ten games in 2005 and reached the Southeastern Conference championship game.

Coach Ed Orgeron called this year’s opener at UCLA the most important one in his full four seasons at LSU. Now, Orgeron’s preparation for the Bruins has to overcome the obstacle of Hurricane Ida.
