Five-star forward Julian Phillips commits to LSU

LSU picked up one of the nations most elite propsects Friday afternoon as forward Julian Phillips‍ of Branson (Mo.) Link Year Prep announced he's committed to Will Wade and the Tiger basketball program.

Phillips stands at 6-foot-8, 200 pounds and chose LSU over Florida State, Clemson, Tennessee, USC and many others.

With his commitment, LSU now has two commitments for the class of 2022.  The Tigers other commit is small forward Devin Ree‍ of Terry, Miss.

He visited LSU officially back in June.

Phillips is originally from Blythwood, South Carolina.
