LSU must survive injuries

Things are going quite smoothly for coach Kim Mulkey and her LSU women’s basketball team.

The Tigers enjoyed an open date Thursday before returning to their Southeastern Conference schedule Sunday at Florida. LSU is tied with No. 1-ranked South Carolina for second place in the SEC with a 5-1 record. Tennessee, which is ranked No. 5 in the country, leads the Tigers and Gamecocks by one game.
