New approach for LSU baseball

LSU baseball coach Jay Johnson’s press conference prior to the opening of practice for the 2022 season Friday should have been an indication to everyone that a new approach is at hand.

There was little talk of personnel. There was little talk of where the Tigers fit in the pecking order of teams in the mighty Southeastern Conference.

No, Johnson appeared to be more of a “process” coach – along the lines of a Nick Saban.
