Will Wade never really got the chance to improve his reputation in March. That statement is certainly Wade’s fault. For the second time in three NCAA tournaments, a LSU assistant will be handling the team in the Big Dance.

For the third time in the past four seasons, LSU will play in the NCAA tournament.

Sunday’s bracket revealed the Tigers as a No. 6 seed in the Midwest Regional. LSU’s opening-round game will be against Iowa State on Friday in Milwaukee.

Will Wade quickly rebuilt a Tigers basketball program which had bottomed out under former coach Johnny Jones. Wade brought victories – a .673 winning percentage – and excitement back to the PMAC.
