There was no doubt that LSU’s offensive line was in a rebuilding mode when the 2021 football season concluded.

Four linemen who started the Tigers’ bowl game against Kansas State were not going to return. Center Liam Shanahan and tackle Austin Deculus were out of eligibility. Guards Chasen Hines and Ed Ingram decided to bypass their final year for the NFL.

The only returning player who had more than two starts in his LSU career was tackle Cam Wire.
