Right where they should be

In about a 15-hour span, the LSU baseball program faced both a low and a high.

Not unexpectedly after what took place in the Southeastern Conference tournament, the Tigers were not selected as one of the 16 regional host teams Sunday night. LSU did not add to its body of work by going 1-2 in the SEC tournament.

However, the mood should have changed late Monday morning when the Tigers were assigned to the Hattiesburg (Miss.) Regional as the No. 2 seed behind USM.
