If one looks at the last five complete SEC seasons in football, basketball and baseball, LSU is the only program which ranks in the five top five in all of them.

The Southeastern Conference, present and future, has experienced great success in this baseball postseason.

Seven schools, set for the 16-team SEC, either will be at the College World Series or came within one victory of reaching Omaha – Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Auburn, Texas and Tennessee.

All that remains to be completed for the 2021-22 athletic year is baseball.
