Four-star forward Corey Chest commits to LSU

Matt McMahon and the LSU men's basketball program picked up a big commitment Tuesday afternoon as four-star power forward Corey Chest‍ of Link Academy pledged to the Tigers.

“I choose LSU because of my relationship with coach Matt and his entire coaching staff and I’m big on family, It’s home,” Chest told TigerBait.com.

The 6-foot-8 prospect chose LSU over Ohio State, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Houston. 

“Coach Matt broke everything down to me when I went on my visit,” Chest said. “He put me in position to play my game and be the best I can be, plus also push the ball and create for others.”

Chest was at Eleanor McMain in New Orleans but transferred to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri.
