Tremont Waters and Skylar Mays ready to lead LSU to next step

Tremont Waters and Skylar Mays were the heart and soul of Will Wade’s first team as LSU basketball coach.

Waters was one of the best freshman point guards in the country – averaging 16 points and six assists per game. Mays, a former point guard, shifted to a wing position to accommodate Waters. The steady Mays averaged 11 points and four rebounds per game.
