McMahon taking over unique situation

If there would have been a 2020 NCAA tournament, LSU’s men basketball would be entering the upcoming season with a streak of four appearances in the Big Dance.

That’s the situation being inherited by coach Matt McMahon, who has replaced Will Wade. Major violations of NCAA rules cost Wade his job. Over the last four seasons, the Tigers enjoyed success on the court with a 90-39 overall record, including a 48-23 mark in the Southeastern Conference.
