LSU basketball and meeting expectations

Just three years ago, expectations were quite high entering the LSU basketball season.

The Tigers had three returning starters – Keith Hornsby, Jalyn Patterson and Tim Quarterman. Arizona transfer Craig Victor would become eligible in mid-December. Then, three highly-rated freshmen joined the program – Ben Simmons, Antonio Blakeney and Brandon Sampson.
