Different level of competition just ahead for LSU

No Southeastern Conference team has a better record than LSU, which has won 11 of its 12 games.

But, coach Matt Mc Mahon is ready to got a lot of answers about his first Tigers team when the SEC schedule begins Wednesday. Five SEC teams have a better RPI than LSU, which sits at No. 47.

One of those five teams is Arkansas which will be the Tigers’ conference-opening opponent at the PMAC on Wednesday night. The Hogs, who are 11-1 like LSU, has a RPI of 24.
