Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. LSU’s Citrus Bowl game against Purdue in Orlando on Monday afternoon is meaningful.

First, the Tigers can finish with ten victories by defeating the Boilermakers. LSU has posted only two double digit-victory seasons in the past eight years – both with Joe Burrow at quarterback.

Second, the Tigers are trying to avoid a season-ending three-game losing streak.
