Very telling stretch of games for Mulkey's LSU team

Playing a challenging schedule in the first few weeks of Southeastern Conference play, coach Matt McMahon’s initial team at LSU has hit the skids.

These overmatched Tigers have lost six consecutive SEC games after upsetting Arkansas. The last time LSU had such a SEC losing streak occurred six seasons ago – 14 straight conference defeats in Johnny Jones’ final season as coach.

The last five of these six setbacks have been by double digits.
