Much anticipated season is here

The preseason hype for LSU baseball has been off the charts.

The Tigers have been ranked No. 1 in the country in every ranking heading into Friday’s season-opener against Western Michigan at The Box.

Jay Johnson, starting his second year as LSU coach, has done nothing to diminish the great expectations for his team. Johnson has embraced all of the praise which has come in his team’s direction.
