LSU Baseball Analysis: Good signs in two key areas

Western Michigan was not expected to provide much of a test for LSU in the season-opening series.

The Tigers won all three games as they outscored the Broncos 34-5. Western Michigan gave LSU a close contest in the middle game as the series – a 5-3 Tigers victory. In the other two games, the Broncos were in the game until LSU broke loose in the middle innings for 10-0 and 9-2 victories.

The offense was certainly not clicking on all cylinders against Western Michigan.
