Playmakers needed in LSU secondary

For more than ten years, members of the LSU secondary have used the moniker DBU.

Those three letters represent Defensive Backs University – a reference to the many former LSU secondary players who represented the program in the NFL.

A productive defensive backfield, particularly one in which man-to-man coverage can be used, only strengthens that side of the football. Good secondary play makes it possible for the defensive front to really pressure opposing quarterbacks.
