Myles Brennan may get some snaps against Rice

In a time in which college football players are trying to get to the NFL as soon as possible, taking a redshirt season is still the best path for some individuals.

There is a new redshirt rule in 2018 as players can participate in as many as four games and still qualify for a redshirt. The idea of a redshirt season was important for one LSU player – quarterback Myles Brennan.
