Jalen Cook returns to LSU

Matt McMahon's LSU basketball program got a real shot in the arm Good Friday morning as Tulane guard Jalen Cook has announced his commitment to LSU.

Cook (6-0, 195) originally signed with LSU and the Class of 2020.  He was a former Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year.  

Last season, Cook averaged 19.9 points, 4.9 assists, and 1.8 steals per game and was named First Team All-AAC.  He also shot 84.5-percent from the free throw line.

Cook has two seasons of eligibility remaining, including a Covid season.
