No surprises in LSU Spring game

Coach Brian Kelly kept things short and sweet in LSU’s spring football game on Saturday afternoon in Tiger Stadium.

The open-field scrimmage portion of the practice lasted for no more than 90 minutes and consisted of only 54 snaps. With so many scholarship players unavailable, there was no reason to be on the field for a long period of time.

The action matched the No. 1 offense against the No. 1 defense and the No. 2 offense against the No. 2 defense.
