ANALYSIS: LSU takes care of business against Rice

LSU didn’t beat the point spread in its 42-10 victory against Rice on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

However, the Tigers checked off all of the other appropriate boxes.

LSU coach Ed Orgeron was able to get all of his seniors in the game. The Tigers passing game was as productive as it had been all year. The defense dominated a lesser opponent. No additional players were injured.

LSU took a 28-3 lead into the locker room at halftime and put things on cruise control in the second half.
