Little separates Tigers and Gators

Sparked by outstanding pitching and clutch home runs from Cade Beloso and Tommy White, LSU came back from the losers’ bracket of the College World Series to eliminate No. 1 national seed Wake Forest.

Without a doubt, the Demon Deacons were the best team in the country – outside of the Southeastern Conference. Wake Forest’s 54-12 record will be the tops in the nation for 2023.

Now, the Tigers must prove they are the best team in the SEC.
