Time to get a reading on LSU basketball team

LSU has crept up the Associated Press basketball rankings while beginning the season with a four-game winning streak.

The Tigers knocked off four opponents at the PMAC – with three of the victories coming by fewer than ten points. Those three victories came teams who are a combined 9-0 when not playing LSU – North Carolina-Greensboro (4-1), Louisiana Tech (3-1) and Memphis (2-1).

The other Tigers victory was a 31-point rout of Southeastern Louisiana, which has a 2-3 record.
