LSU could become tops for women’s sports in SEC

Scott Woodward has made his share of outstanding head coaching hires in his four years as LSU Director of Athletics.

In his second season as baseball coach, Jay Johnson led the Tigers to the College World Series championship. In his initial season as football coach, Brian Kelly guided LSU to the Southeastern Conference Western Division title and a 10-victory campaign.

However, Woodward saved his most impactful hire for women’s athletics.
