Returning starting quarterback has been good for LSU

LSU moved past the halfway point of its preseason football camp over the weekend.

Eight practices are in the books with six remaining before class begins August 21. Once the Tigers players start their academic work, their football work will begin to center on the season-opener against Florida State on Labor Day weekend.
