LSU’s preseason football camp ended with last Saturday’s scrimmage in Tiger Stadium.

Later this week, LSU will begin its work for the season-opener against Florida State in Orlando on Labor Day weekend. The Tigers are considered among the top teams in the country – coming in at No. 5 in both the Associated Press and coaches’ pre-season polls.

Without a doubt, LSU is a contender for a spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals.
