Forward Robert Miller III commits to LSU
Matt McMahon and his LSU basketball staff has picked up the commitment of four-star forwaard Robert Miller III of Pasadena (TX) Memorial.
“I ultimately chose LSU because of family like atmosphere the coaches bring,” Miller said. “The coaching staff has been really consistent throughout my recruiting journey in letting me know how much I am wanted in the program.”
The 6-foot-10 four-star forward visited LSU officially in June. He was back on campus for the Grambling weekend. He chose LSU over Alabama, Texas and many others.
He’s the son of former LSU defensive lineman Robert Miller who played in the early 90s.
Miller was originally offered by former LSU coach Will Wade and Matt McMahon re-offered soon after arriving in Baton Rouge.
Last season, Miller averaged 19.7 points, 13.4 rebounds and 5.4 blocks per game. He’s LSU’s first commitment for the class of 2024.
