Jayden Daniels was on his way to having another one of those special nights Saturday in Tuscaloosa.

Daniels was a few yards shy of 400 entering the fourth quarter of LSU’s important matchup with Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Daniels’ heroics were not enough. In fact, Daniels ended the game sitting in the injury tent having been placed in concussion protocol.

Jalen Milroe, Daniels’ Crimson Tide counterpart, was as good, if not better, on this night.
