Daniels is Heisman worthy

When last seen on a football field, LSU’s Jayden Daniels was sitting in the injury tent on the sidelines of Bryant-Denny Stadium.

A late hit by Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner ended Daniels’ night and put the LSU quarterback in concussion protocol.

No one knew how long Daniels was going to be unavailable. What should have not been surprising is the speed in which Daniels recovered. Daniels was back on the practice field Wednesday and cleared for contact Thursday.
