Time for Kelly to shine is now

The post-Nick Saban Southeastern Conference is less than one week old.

No one knows how SEC football will shake out over the next few seasons. One would believe that coach Kirby Smart, a Saban protégé, has Georgia in position to be the dominant program.

However, no one also knows how the addition of Oklahoma and Texas will impact the football results. Early 2024 national rankings have three SEC schools at the top – Georgia, Alabama and Texas.
