Point guards must lead bounce-back week for LSU basketball

It was a difficult 24-hour period for LSU’s two basketball programs on The Plains last weekend.

On Saturday night, the men’s team proved to be not ready for a nationally ranked opponent. LSU was competitive with No. 16 Auburn for about 13 minutes before falling apart. LSU did show some resolve in the second half with a nice comeback. Still, LSU lost to Auburn 93-78.
