In victories over Florida and Vanderbilt, LSU’s defense appeared to have righted itself.

Neither the Gators nor the Commodores made more than 35 percent of their field goal attempts. The Tigers held both Florida and Vanderbilt in the 60s while winning comfortably.

However, LSU’s defense reverted to its earlier form in the first half of Sunday’s game against Alabama. The Crimson Tide scored 41 points in the first half as the Tigers fell behind by double digits.
