Time for best players to shine

Six games ago, the LSU women’s basketball team was possibly questioning itself.

Back-to-back losses to South Carolina and Mississippi State left the Tigers with a 5-3 record at the halfway point of the Southeastern Conference schedule. LSU, which began the season ranked No. 1 in the country, fell out of the top ten.

More importantly, bracketology had the Tigers as a No. 4 seed in the NCAA tournament.
