Both LSU basketball teams in right position

Followers of LSU’s two basketball programs should find nothing wrong with Sunday night’s news.

The Tigers’ women’s basketball team is a top four seed – No. 3 exactly – and the PMAC will be a host site for first and second-round games of the NCAA tournament. Everything is in place for coach Kim Mulkey’s team to make another run to the Final Four.

LSU’s first-round opponent is No. 14-seed Rice (19-14).
