Now the season starts for LSU women’s team

Being around the LSU women’s basketball team for the last two days or so has presented some excitable moments.

On Friday afternoon, the Tigers staggered to a 70-60 NCAA tournament first-round victory over No. 14 seed Rice. No stat other than 24 LSU turnovers is the reflection of a team which was not totally focused on the task at hand.
