Four-star guard Bella Hines commits to LSU
Kim Mulkey and her LSU women’s basketball program picked up a significant commitment Tuesday afternoon in Class of 2025 four-star guard Bella Hines of Albuquerque (NM) Eldorado.
The 5-foot-9 Hines finished the 2023-24 season averaging 32.5 points, 6.7 assists and 2.2 steals per game.
Hines committed to LSU over offers from Arizona, Baylor, Florida State, Iowa, Kansas State, NC State, TCU, Texas Tech and West Virginia.
“Oh it feels great, you know just like to know that they recognize me and just to know that I have the talent to play with the top dogs. Especially LSU, I mean they are the defending national champs, I mean it felt great and it was definitely an offer I wanted”, said Bella Hines in an interview with KRQE back in January when she received her LSU scholarship offer.
Hines was on the LSU campus for a recruiting visit when the Tigers hosted the Baton Rouge Regional two weeks ago.
While on that visit she went viral when she did the griddy with Kim Mulkey.
