In what seems like two months, LSU’s spring football practice finally comes to a conclusion Saturday afternoon with an intersquad scrimmage in Tiger Stadium.

Spring football serves little purpose – particularly when 15 practices are spread over almost six weeks. At least LSU football fans are not fooled by what will happen Saturday. Don’t expect more than 20,000 people to venture out to Tiger Stadium.

Spring football drills are not for the starters.
