Nothing different for LSU baseball

Former LSU coach Skip Bertman used to say that the college baseball season did not really begin until the tax man made a visit.

In other words, April 15 is the date when Bertman’s Tigers teams needed to move into another gear.

Tax Day in 2024 will be here next Monday. So, LSU has one more Southeastern Conference series – this weekend at Tennessee – before April 15. Following the three games with the Volunteers, the Tigers will be at the halfway point of the league schedule.
